As the title reflects, I feel I have been Chasing Rainbows to no avail. I needed someplace or thing to make me feel more grounded and accountable. Somewhere I can record my plans and efforts as I work towards meeting goals of increasing my Polymer Clay knowledge, skills, and abilities while working towards a healthier me, in mind, body, and soul. A place that reminds me that everything has the possibility to improve with effort (I might even catch part of one of those Rainbows, someday).

I entered

This is just a quickie blog post to say I've entered a couple of blog giveaways.  I'd like to have a blog giveaway, but can't think of anything to give away, yet.  I will eventually.

The first giveaway I entered is for a  "chance to win your own angel, made for you, by me, with your specifics and input", from Marie over at Art From My Heart.  My "words of wisdom" (I love Marie's term for 'comments') are:  Hi Marie, what a wonderful way to start the New Year, with an angel giveaway. I wish I hadn't read the other comments first, I keep thinking, "Oh yes, like that!" LOL. However, staying true to my own heart, if she were my Heart Angel, she would be filled with Rainbows in any way of your choosing. Rainbows for hope eternal and love and beauty in the world around us.  I hope I win, Marie is such a talented artist, it would be such an honor to own something made by her, just for me.  I don't know if I am allowed to post a picture from somebody else's blog, so you'll just have to go see for yourself.

The second giveaway I entered is for a chance to win a Tungsten Ring.  This giveaway is sponsored by Mrs. B at Confessions of a Pagan Soccer Mom.  I went to the Tungsten Ring Site and chose which ring I liked the best, which is the  Womens 6mm Beveled Edge Tungsten Carbide Band.  I haven't worn a wedding ring in years, unfortunately, I outgrew mine.  I'm working on getting back down to that size, but for now, I just miss having a wedding ring, as Mrs. B states:  "I realized that I missed wearing a wedding ring and having that constant reminder of love and devotion."  She wrote more than that, of course, and you can visit her website (link above) to read the rest.

So, thank you, Ladies, for this chance to join in the fun of your giveaways.  Smiles, Sue C
